It's recording constantly

Open the folder and watch a few clips — what's actually moving is usually obvious and usually something you can exclude outright.

Frequent causes: a window with traffic or trees, a television, sunlight moving across a wall through the day, a fan, or a pet.

Fix the region first, since it removes the cause. Then lower sensitivity a step. Raising the cooldown reduces the number of clips without addressing why they're happening, which is sometimes exactly what you want.

If it's specifically at night, headlights through a window are the likeliest culprit.
