Scheduling when it watches
Windows by weekday and time, each either triggered or continuous.
Each window covers a set of weekdays and a start and end time, to the minute. Add as many as you need — several windows on the same day is entirely normal.
A worked example. "Monday 7am to 9:30pm, Tuesday all day, Wednesday to Saturday 6-9am, 11am-3:08pm and 5:14-9pm" is five windows:
- Mon, 7:00-21:30
- Tue, all day
- Wed Thu Fri Sat, 6:00-9:00
- Wed Thu Fri Sat, 11:00-15:08
- Wed Thu Fri Sat, 17:14-21:00
Tap the day chips to choose days, set the times directly, and use Duplicate to add another window on the same days without rebuilding the day selection.
Each entry is either:
- Record on motion or sound — monitoring during the window, but only writes when something happens.
- Record continuously — writes the entire window regardless. Produces large files.
Overlapping windows combine, and continuous wins where they overlap.
Times are local wall-clock, so a window stays at the same clock time across daylight-saving changes rather than drifting by an hour.
